We enjoyed the Expo very much; the days went by way too fast. We greatly appreciate all the efforts to make this the
best John Deere show there is, and we look forward to next year.

Just wanted to send you a note… YOU ALL DID A GREAT JOB! THANK YOU! Sorry, didn't mean to yell, but we had a
great time. We cannot thank you enough for what you have done for this hobby.
Gene Beals, Iowa
I just wanted to thank you all for the great job you did on the Expo. This was my eighth Expo, but the first year I was
an Exhibitor, and it was a wonderful experience. I was glad to see that the quality of my tractor fit into the group.
Ron Lauber, Missouri
I wanted to let you know just how much I enjoyed my experience at Expo XX; it was literally a “dream come true.”
All the folks from Georgia, a total of 14, had a “large” time. The “Twins,” my “40” Vs with consecutive serial numbers,
enjoyed their stay, not to mention the company they kept.
Please tell Brenda that one of the highlights of the event occurred early on when she said that she remembered talking
with me over the phone. Made my day! Y'all were so gracious, and really put on a GREAT show! The time and energy
you put into the effort is unimaginable, though well worth it from my perspective. Good Lord willing, it won't be my
last time to visit.
Wilburn C. Albright, Georgia
I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate you on Expo XX. I can only imagine the countless hours that
goes in to putting together an exposition of this type and size. It is recognized nationally as the epitome of John Deere
restoration, and it keeps getting bigger and better each year. The pursuit of restoration excellence and the camaraderie of
the congregation of the most talented restoration people anywhere is just overwhelming. To be able to display our equipment
at an Expo is truly an honor and privilege to many of us, and I want you to know that the work that the staff
does is greatly appreciated.
Tom O'Connor, Michigan
I certainly enjoyed the once-again outstanding meet. After awhile people expect perfection, but having been involved
with auto shows half this size means I understand how much organization and behind-the-scenes work goes into the
Expo. Thank you for a job well done!
Joel Janssen, Nebraska
The show was excellent! The tractors were some of the best I've seen. The variety of tractors was remarkable. The tour of
the John Deere Engine Works was superb (watching the robots was like watching Star Wars!). I grew up in a family of
John Deere dealers. Seeing all those John Deere Tractors in one place was heaven on earth!
Incidentally, the “GM” Toy I received is amazing. The detail is almost as good as Ertl's first Precision Classic!
Dave Haar, Nebraska
Expo XX was spectacular. You had more exhibits than you have had at past Expos — and the quality of the exhibits
can be described with one word — SUPERB! My hat is off to everyone who brought tractors, trucks and/or equipment.
It is hard to believe that so many folks spend so much time and money to make each exhibit the best it can be.
But even though the displays were spectacular, once again, the people behind the displays were the best part of Expo.
Every person Beverly and I met was “special,” and we met quite a few. So, the best part of Expo is seeing old friends
and making new ones, while we look at beautiful examples of so many different tractors, equipment, and accessories.
The New Generation displays and the Generation II displays “made” Expo. Keep it up — we need everyone. I am
essentially a two-cylinder person. But I absolutely love the New Generation and Generation II exhibits. I also loved the
trucks and the equipment. My point is that our hobby, if it is to survive, has to be inclusive. I do not understand those
who say that New Generation and Generation II exhibits do not belong at Expo. I have news for these folks. If Expos
were limited to only two cylinders and equipment, you could not fill one building. The New Generation displays and the
folks who exhibit them give the Expo a great big breath of “fresh air.” We are all in this together and we must work
together. So, keep the New Generations and the Generations IIs coming!
Like most folks who participated, I went through the vendor area two or three times and picked up some things I just
“had to have.” The venders do a fabulous job. They cheerfully sit in the sun — and endure the rain — so that we can get
the things we need for our projects. My hat is off to them. I thank each and every one of them for helping make Expo
the special event it has become.
Well, you can tell that the Vadens enjoyed themselves. It was “special.” Thank you for all the planning and all the hard
work. It was a highly successful event. We are already looking forward to next year.
Jim Vaden, Tennessee
Thank you for organizing Expo XX, yet another successful two-cylinder tractor and equipment event. It was satisfying
for me to finally exhibit the No. 25 Tandem Plow Hitch, which generated numerous puzzled looks. The atmosphere inthe display area was very congenial. Your recipe for networking and a quality show is working well.
